Dare I jinx it?
Eli has been going on the potty all by himself for a week.
He never needs to be reminded and he's only had one accident.
I can't believe it, but I think he's officially potty trained!
It only took us 5 attempts over about a year.
Who knew the stomach flu was the key to success?
It turns out a bad diaper rash is more motivation to use the toilet than anything I could have thought of on my own.
At least something good came from our epic ELEVEN DAY stomach flu.

How's he doing at night? That was the hardest part for us, we kept Max in pullups for another 6-9 months after he was trained!
We haven't attempted any night training yet, I just put a diaper on him before he goes to bed. As long at the poop is going in the toilet I'm a happy Mom.
Way to go Eli... and the whole family! Way to look for the good Michelle. That flu was brutal!
