Sunrise

Beautiful sunrise this morning!  It's not something I'm used to seeing, but since the sun is rising later, and we're getting up early for school it's become a lot more frequent.  I'm glad there's a beautiful bonus to these early days!

Lilly is finally filling back out.
Her little pants stay up when she walks now.

Fall Break

Fall Break?
Eli was off of school from the 3rd to the 15th, crazy right!

We had to go to the zoo because Lilly asks to go there at least once a day.

We went to the Historical Museum and the kids panned for gold.
Too bad we didn't find anything!

We also went to the Idaho Aquarium.
They built a new sea turtle exhibit since last time we went there, awesome!

We went to the pumpkin patch and the Botanical Gardens....kind of the same thing.
Lilly took her first ride on the cow train and loved it!

Eli and I went on a date to Souper Salad.  It's the closest thing we have here to Sweet Tomatoes, but the food isn't as good.  Eli loves it though, so we went.

Back to Normal

We're finally back to our "Normal" routine around here.  Lilly took a full 2 1/2 weeks to recover from the tonsillectomy, it felt like forever, but we're already seeing improvement in her speech.  She's been eating up a storm trying to gain back all the weight she lost.  Her poor little ribs were all sticking out, but they're hidden under a little layer of fat once more!
We started speech therapy a couple of weeks ago, it's just once a week for a half hour.  The therapist doesn't think this is enough to get Lilly back up to par, so she's transferring to a special speech therapy preschool that's twice a week for 2 1/2 hours each session.  Here comes some crazy chauffeur days for me!  Eli has school from 8-11am and Lilly will be on the opposite end of town from 9-11:30!!

Here's our favorite kitty, Goldenbell (named by Eli).  She's adorable and lives at the farm next to Eli's school.  She just loves the kids, and comes to "visit" everyday when school lets out.  I just wish we could bring her home.

We haven't been able to go to story time for awhile because the time conflicts with when I need to pick Eli up from school.  He was off for 1 1/2 weeks for "Fall Break" (crazy), and we got to go to story hour twice.  Our favorite lady, Sharron, taught both times and Lilly couldn't have been happier, but Eli wasn't thrilled about it.  I guess compared to Kindergarten, story time is a little lame.
