Eli loves the neighbor's cat.
This has to be one of the nicest cats I've ever met, she'll let Eli do anything to her. When he saw her outside yesterday he said "look Mom, my friend came to visit". He always wants to let her in, but Ben's allergic so she stays outside. They get along great, and go all around the yard together. She watched him dig in the gravel for an hour last week.

How fun for Eli! Just goes to show... dogs aren't the only "best friends" for man. (I'm a cat lover as you can tell). ;)
