Tonsils & Adenoids

Lilly got her Tonsils and Adenoids out today.

The tonsils were the size of a shooter marble, and for her age should be about the size of a pea.

Poor baby, had a hard time waking up after surgery, and we had to stay in recovery forever.  I hope it'll just get better as the days go on, and in the long run we're hoping this helps decrease her ear infections.

We had lots of fun playing with the mask while we were waiting to go back for surgery.  It smelled like bubble gum, and she got to decorate it with stickers!

First Day of Preschool

Lilly rode her bike to her first day of preschool!

Outdoor Fun

We bought a tag a long bike off of craigslist a couple of weeks ago.  It wouldn't attach to Ben's seat post, so for now it's stuck on my old bike.  We can't squeeze it on with Lilly's seat, so for now Ben's stuck riding an old girl's bike, sorry Ben.

The Boat is on everyone's wish list, maybe next summer!

We went to the Boise Balloon Festival on Saturday, dawn is a little too early for my taste, but we had fun!

Kristen Armstrong

Ben and Eli got to go on a celebratory bike ride with Kristen Armstrong.

She won a gold medal in the London Olympics in the Women's time trial.

She's from Boise, so to welcome her home they had a ride from the Boise Depot, down to the Capitol Building.  It also happened to be her birthday, so the served 2000 people cake, and declared it Kristen Armstrong Day in Idaho!
